Hello, I've been working with Clojure for several years but have been out of the loop for a while. Things are always changing and I find myself working on a couple of Clojure projects; joining this Slack team seemed like a good way to keep abreast of changes. My current projects focus on healthcare and flowing data between systems. 🙂
Hi! My name is Janil and I'm a web developer from Brazil. I've been working with Python for the last 5/6 years but I've been studying functional programming during all this time. I started out with Haskell, but mostly played around with Scala. I did dabble with Scheme before, but Clojure is the first Lisp I really took seriously... Starting from about 2 months ago. 🙂 I'm playing with it on my own personal project: a passphrase generator that can extract dictionaries from ePub and other textual data: https://gitlab.com/janilcgarcia/mellon, and I wrote a small app using react native + cljs for it last week https://gitlab.com/janilcgarcia/mellon-mobile. It's still pretty raw, but I'm working on it whenever I can find some time. I joined this slack mostly so I could ask for help with the react native/cljs integration, but end up figuring it out by myself. I decided to stick around anyway 😛
