Hey everyone, http://griffin.sh/careers are on the lookout for more engineers across product and infrastructure as we aim to help make it easy for companies to offer financial products. We are currently seeking authorisation to become a bank, so that we can provide accounts, payments and loans to our customers. • https://boards.greenhouse.io/griffin/jobs/4202713003https://boards.greenhouse.io/griffin/jobs/4202613003 Our backend stack is Clojure, FoundationDB, Kubernetes and AWS, although we're keen to speak to anyone with a background in Functional languages (Haskell, Erlang, Elixir, Scala etc.) and distributed systems. We have an office in London but we work in a remote distributed fashion, ie. remotely from across UK&I, Germany and Sweden. Let me know if you're keen to find out more!

> We have grown quickly within the last year to our current team size of 14 which is made up of the CTO, VP of Engineering and 20 engineers split across backend, infrastructure and fullstack specialisations. 20 engineers but team size of 14. This inflation stuff is getting out of hand.

Hello everyone! I’m looking for a new consulting / contracting role. I have been working with Clojure in production for 7-8 years and working with software professionally since 2013. I enjoy system / platform design, especially CQRS / ES systems, data engineering, as well as managing cloud infrastructure. Very interested in exploring Flutter + ClojureDart in terms of frontend development. I prefer to spend time on the backend and I enjoy starting projects from scratch, but I’m also fine working within the constraints of legacy systems / extending legacy systems in sustainable ways. I’ll also work on the frontend as needed. I’m currently in Central Time in the US and I’ve been 100% remote since 2016. Feel free to take a look at my LinkedIn, Github, and my resumé is attached: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cameron-barre-5705b590/ https://github.com/cjbarre Thank you for reading, Cameron

I can vouch for Cameron. I had the pleasure of working with him few years ago and he is very thorough and quality oriented in both his approach and code.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Cameron for years. He’s very good at looking at the big picture, understanding system requirements, learning quickly, and building systems such that they require little maintenance and can be easily extended. He’s also just a great person in general and a good communicator.
