@borkdude Holy cow, I got to talk with Dr. Thomas Wuerthinger this morning, who created the GraalVM project. (I’m so excited that he’ll be giving a talk at the DevOps Enterprise Summit in December, to tell the story of the work of his amazing team.) We’re both waving at you. 🙂

Freaking awesome! I’ll make introduction to him, Alex. He’s got such an amazing story to share, on so many dimensions: organizational change, innovation, doing innovation adjacent to very powerful incumbent groups (Java, existing JVM team, etc.), so many cool stories!

@genekim Thomas looks the same as I remember him from my Oracle Labs endevour back in 2017, he simply does not age. He's also extremely polite and profi. I can imagine it had to be a great chat.
