As some of you may be aware, the mortgage industry is experiencing a downturn and companies across the board are implementing layoffs. My team has a lot of very high performers so we've been largely shielded from prior layoffs but my company executed another round of layoffs this week and sadly we had to let three devs go. But by no means were they the three lowest performers on the team - we're all high performing Clojure veterans - this was purely an administrative action from the top and their departure was moreso akin to picking names out of a hat than any measure of performance or skillset. Anyway, our loss is your gain because there are now three more very high performing Clojure veterans available on the market.
