I'm going to give calva a go. I've used emacs and tmux in the past

I quite liked tmate, tho found losing some of my emacs keybindings to the terminal a bit frustrating

if you come up with something you like, I'd be really, really interested as I think this is going to become an important onboarding issue for me soon
