This might also be going off on a tangent, however I know that I have avoided when possible adding performance metrics like this in the past. As clara's dsl allows arbitrary clojure in both left/right hand sides, creating "real world" metrics could be misleading to consumers, as we most likely wouldn't have modeled anything close to the use case.
