Posted demo video of Fulcro RAD report running on membrane. Thanks @smith.adriane for your help yesterday! Writing stuff on membrane is so fun! https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/C68M60S4F/p1677866087144449

I’ve been recording my Zoom sessions with @smith.adriane — • Session 1 is where we paired together to get membrane app written from scratch; • Session 2 is follow-on, where I learn about defui • Session 3 is where he blows my mind by showing his spreadsheet app — which I’m still processing. Like Clerk, Portal, REPL on freaking steroids. Enjoy, and I hope this helps others get started on using Membrane! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4aJznIeHN6yUzULne9RWc6KJhUnOVm-h

Only part way through episode 1, but this is fun to watch @U6VPZS1EK and @smith.adriane! Gene, your excitement and joy of learning is putting a smile on my face!

yeah good stuff, I wasn't expecting to binge these but i did. That spreadsheet dev environment stuff in session 3 was insanely cool

Yes I love Gene’s expression of humble sentiments like (paraphrasing) “I’ve been trying to get at stuff like this forever, and it seems mystifyingly complex in practice, forbidding if not impossible. And now you’re serving all this up and more in this framework? Wow!!! This is a great human kindness!..” That’s how I feel too. And even express sometimes… but usually hold back a bit because the text vibe usually seems more stoic, terse, and topical. Anyway… Super cool!:heart_on_fire: Keep going on the repl/db/spreadsheet thing!
