Hi all! My name is Antoine. I am currently based in Ottawa, Canada. My curiosity for functional programming has grown immensely in the last year or so, thus my interest for Clojure. I am just starting on my learning journey and have not had the opportunity to use Clojure or other purely functional language in a production system yet. I also do not have many people in my software circle with whom to share my enthusiasm and curiosity for this subject. This is why I decided to join the Clojurians' Slack.
Hi All!! I am Santanu from India. I worked as a Software Engineer here from year 2000 till December 2016. After that I was not associated with any organization here as a full-time member but did some small freelancing works till December 2019. The last two years were really tough for me and hence I didn't get any chance to find myself engaged with any software projects. Although I am very much interested about Functional Programming and different dialects of LISP, in my professional career I worked mostly on Java/J2EE and JVM based languages like Groovy/Grails, etc. As personal learning exercises I did some small projects on Common LISP and Clojure a few years back. You can check my projects in my GitHub repo: https://github.com/orgs/foss-santanu/repositories. The Clojure has made some good advancements till I last worked with it so I need to learn some pretty new things and also need to brush up my knowledge of Clojure as it is a few years since I last worked on this language. On the domain side I am very much interested about AI, ML, NLP, Analytics, etc.
