Hi fellow Clojurians! My name is Jason and I'm a software engineer working remotely from Dallas, Texas. I've primarily worked with Python and Java in the past, but am now working for a startup that is adopting Clojure. So far I am really loving Clojure and look forward to joining this fantastic community!
Welcome! Dallas was my first experience of America, about 30 years ago. It was a bit of a shock after living in England 🙂
Thanks and what a small world! The TX Silicon Prairie is definitely still expanding. Hopefully your shock was balanced by great Mexican food and BBQ! 😂
Tex-Mex, and Cajun too (since I asked my hosts for spicier food than the Mexican). I actually did look at houses in the Dallas area when I was first considering emigrating from the UK, then years later starting looking at San Diego, and finally ended up in the SF Bay Area 🙂
