At which time is the weekly meeting tomorrow?

awb9904:08:05

9am germany time? Or EST time?

awb9904:08:13

I will connect 10:30 EST in jitsi tomorrow. I hope someone is there then

timo07:08:15

We are usually there at 4pm on Thursdays CEST/CET. When noone joins I usually leave again after a few minutes. Maybe it's good to not leave again, still figuring out what's best here.

nando10:08:22

@UCSJVFV35 4pm CET, Central European Time, should be 10 am on the east coast of America

awb9911:08:42

It would be great to have a calendar

awb9911:08:07

Who knows in which time zone slack converts the messages to

timo12:08:33

So unfortunately it seems that today @UB95JRKM3 and me are not able to join. I don't know if anyone else is joining but maybe not.

timo12:08:19

@UCSJVFV35 if you have something specific in mind maybe we can solve it in writing? slack or github-issues maybe?

awb9914:08:36

I need to make sure export and import works.

awb9914:08:50

This is the backup restore issue

awb9914:08:28

I am not sure if it is fixed in 0.5 I cannot migrate from 0.4 to 0.5 due to https://github.com/replikativ/datahike/issues/552

awb9914:08:14

I will stay in jitsi 25 more minutes.

awb9914:08:24

Perhaps someone still joins

awb9914:08:01

Future meetings start at 10:30 (as the slack bot suggests) or at 10:00 ?

timo17:08:09

Currently we are trying to meet at 4pm CEST on thursdays and it works most of the time. Sorry that no one was there today.

awb9923:08:54

Thanks @U4GEXTNGZ perhaps change the time of the invite bot. Its confusing if the bot invitsmes for 30 minutes later. I will try to connect another day.

I've been following datahike for some time - not using it yet, but find it interesting. I would like to ask if this is something that might be usefull for the project https://substrait.io/ . substrait is built by some people involved with Apache Calcite. It's trying to provide a way to express query plans and things like that. Right now it's focused on SQL but not sure if this is a limitation, might work with other stuff. Supporting substrait might make datahike plugable with other substrait projects / across languages. The project is pretty young, but I think it merrits an eye.
