Good morning!
goede morgen! 🥞 lovely rain here in the Netherlands
(that’s why there’s the advise not to drink Coffee after lunch… if you want to sleep on time)
because of what my nickname said? 😅 (I actually like milk tea too… unfortunately if you drink lemontea and milk tea on the same day… oh what’s that app for searching the nearest toilet 🙀)
A friend of mine has created a "coffee candy" that is made directly from sweet, fresh-brewed, high-quality coffee and he's just getting that business off the ground -- sending samples to friends (I'm very impressed with the product). That's in addition to my regular Aeropress habit 🙂 My American wife is the tea drinker, so when we order a tea and a coffee -- either here in America or when we're visiting the UK -- the server nearly always places her tea in front of this Brit and my coffee in front of that American 😆
I once watched spiffing brit on youtube (he mostly do videos on exploiting bugs/quirks in computer game). And he said something like “wait, you like coffee instead of tea. Oh I am so sorry, but that means you simply have to die (in-game)…”
Oh yeah, I've had all sorts of grief, around the world, about being a Brit that only drinks coffee, not tea! I'm not "properly" British 😅
You know that the British invented the drinking of coffee as social activity, right? The idea of The Coffee House was a quintessentially British thing. There is nothing un-British about your stance, @U04V70XH6
I had tea once with @robert-stuttaford and I was baffled that he and his wife ordered milk in their rooibos, I had never heard of that before. I like rooibos tea lot though, just plain.
