So, I’ll try to start a new tradition here today: Feel free to congratulate me on being done with my first fifty years today. Proud and happy to still be “just” a programmer :)
Great! Congrats, happy new year of life and all the best for the next three or four 50 years! 🍾
Happy cake day! 🎂
It’s awesome that when you where born, LISP already existed.
and there was me thinking I was the oldest (or perhaps @U0K1RLM99)
its quite the feeling of relief
Happy belated birthday Erik!
Good Morning!
Is Friday the end of the work week or the start of the weekend?
Friday is invoice day!
… the day I’m fighting with my clojurescript application to create this PDF that magically makes people send me money
My young padawan told me today it felt strange to have been working on a problem for two days and only up with 200 lines of code. I asked him if it was nice to work in a language where you spend more time working on the problem than typing in the solution.
200 is quite a lot. 🙈 I had weeks that totaled up to that amount.
That's pretty awesome. I watch younglins hitting the keyboard, hammering away at things, rather than just sit back and think for a while first.
you lose your train of thought and its like 3 days work disappeared
