yes @tgoossens !! we are missing one for the 100! should we prepare something special to celebrate it? 😄
@vijaykiran: nice!
mine fails on seq-caps though - perhaps I should write a gen-test 🙂
you can always use commons-lang 😛
You won by calling it snake though so your naming is better even if the code is not ;-)
wait - did I call it snake? I think it should be Kebab
snake = hello_world, yelling snake = HELLO_WORLD
someone on the internet : https://github.com/qerub/camel-snake-kebab
I watched the keynote from clojure remote by @ztellman and we are not following his advice :(
I have messaged him (he’s called Arne) on meetup and told him that he will have a special place in our ❤️
@tgoossens: suggests a monthly video interview with a Belgian clojurian
@raymcdermott: it could be interesting to do a monthly interview to a clojurian 🙂
ok, well that’s the guy … the site looks awesome and it seems like he could give a talk or two!
Anyone have suggestions to make high audio quality type of interview over the web ?
Maybe we should have an invitation to slack in the welcome message when joining the group
I have made personal messages to the folks joining as of 1st June to join us on Slack
We have a question on the sign up page about training - is that interesting to anyone?
At the beginning I though to make more belgian oriented trainings just to promote/speed up the integration of Clojure in Belgium, but we never took any action on it. I'm checking all the replies and almost everyone would like some free training, even if it's online... but it's true that there's a lot of material out there..
or maybe more general, are you already contributing with the clojure community (clojure web trainning, open source projects, etc)
I just signed up to stay in the loop about meetups, I didn't expect it to be a special occasion 🙂
What do you want to know about your fellow clojurians. Give some suggestions for interview questions https://docs.google.com/a/thomasgoossens.be/document/d/1INN_Vmh2lHJjeWY4kdkRFXpYq00HyRz1bQOCmtEWEJk/edit?usp=docslist_api
I live in Berlin now but I'm originally from Belgium. I'd love to give a talk some time, I'll be in Belgium a couple times over the summer so maybe we can work something out
if I can suggest something for the http://meetup.com page, the first question you ask when signing up is a yes/no clojure, "Have you ever worked with Clojure before?"
