Morning all.

seancorfield15:07:37

Today, my adopted country celebrates independence from my country of birth. Me? I'm working -- it's just a normal work day fo me!

I hope you do get to see some celebrations

dharrigan16:07:49

What would people normally eat on 4th July?

dharrigan16:07:09

(probably varies between state)

It's a big BBQ/grilling day so lots of hot dogs and burgers. We'll probably grill rib eye steak for Jay and salmon for me (I don't eat much meat). As for "celebrations", folks have been letting off fireworks every night for several weeks at this point, despite fireworks being completely illegal in our entire county (in fact, across most of California) due to the fire risk! Usually, on the evening of the 4th, there are some big public displays in San Francisco and Oakland and we can see the Oakland one from our house (20 miles away -- the display is that big!).

Normally on a Tuesday, I'd go to my personal trainer but she's closed so I may work out at home (we have an elliptical, and free weights, stretch bands, and a yoga ball -- all acquired as part of our "pandemic home gym" 🙂 ).

be like Stephen Wolfram. You can bounce up and down on your yoga ball whilst you code 🙂
