so Legoland was a blast. i made it out of there relatively unscathed; just got the Mindstorms set! also, we saw the largest limestone mine in Europe!
that's a mine in limestone rather than a mine for limestone i presume ?
well, the little video they made us watch had us believing they were mining for limestone for several hundred years!
huh, i've only ever seen limestone quarries before... i guess if you really really want limestone, instead of whatever other rock you've got lying around, and you've only got a shallow seam then you might have to mine it
yes this is basically a really big shallow cave, we walked maybe 3-4 stories downhill to reach the entrance
Been ages since I was at Legoland as a kid. It was great then. Hope to take my kid some day
