Not really making something, using Jespen to test some things. But setting up Jespen on wsl2 is the blocker for now..
Good morning. Winter season is now officially over as the morning ski has been replaced by the morning ride.
over here winter season is also officially over: the calf-deep slop on the trails has hardened and i've just switched from mud-spikes to summer shoes

Good morning. Will present Clojure and the REPL Workflow to an audience of Java Devs today. Hope I will get other questions than “But those parentheses, you cannot read that, can you?”
Online event? Kind of hate it when I get no questions, was it that clear, or was everybody just working and not really paying attention?
Hybrid, some online, some in the room. I don‘t do full online anymore, if I can help it
This looks like an interesting group of keys for lots of different modes, but I presume it is going to have a different mechanism from corkey. I feel like this might be a good place to steal suggested keybindings from though. Any thoughts? https://github.com/emacs-evil/evil-collection
lol, i'm getting emacs-config stress-fractures
I am seriously considering switching from Spacemacs based on the Corgi Emacs Github page...
i switched from spacemacs to doom a short while back... def not anxious to switch again anytime soon
I can relate to that - I didn't switch to DoomEmacs because I was happy with Spacemacs
I'm looking forward to combining corgi with my literate set up style. I need to get things working in a basic way first
(which is mostly there now, but it is the stuff where I want to remain evil beyond the corgi core)
Sounds very interesting - I just want modal editing in CIDER with good key-bindings for structural editing
Yeah, you've given me an indication of that before - there is a part of me that would like to do more in Emacs, but I am not sure that I have the energy (currently) to get into the research and habit forming...
Doom uses evil-collection and I used it before doom. It’s good although I probably don’t quite know when I using evil-collection bindings or some other plugin or doom binding. Some other useful plugins for stealing are mentioned on the doom evil docs. https://github.com/doomemacs/doomemacs/blob/master/modules/editor/evil/README.org
I'm not saying that corgi should use that directly. I do wonder if it is where we should be stealing keybinding suggestions from (in the absence of any other knowledge)
Hopefully a lot of the key binding I created for CIDER / Clojure layer in Spacemacs will be used in Corgi
@U08ABGP70 I switched from spacemacs to corgi a couple of days ago. Well, I wanted to just try it, but I think I'll stay here now.
@U054UD60U - Good to know, thanks 🙂 I may carve some time out to try it myself soon.
does corgi work ok with emacs' native compilation ?
How do you do mode-specific bindings?
Morning
