When you add my vote for Chrome App Mode, it looks like it's about a 50/50 split. I'll leave the default app mode for now but for those who prefer tabbed mode, in the next release 0.11.1, you can pass {:portal.launcher/app false} to opt-out.

Portal will always work in as many browsers as possible, this is more about defaults. I like the chrome --app mode which is the default but I was wondering if I should change that 👌

The firefox issues you had should be fixed on master and will be included in the next release.
