so, anyone still done some clojure mining and crafting lately? I've been simply playing more than coding minecraft, which has been a lot of fun. I started by coding but then had to figure out what I could actually do, what game mechanics are available so I could bent them to my will. I think playing for a while and then coming back to coding it can give you a much better appreciation.

On that note I came across this series of videos which I wish I would have had when starting out. If you're like me and you're looking at the clojure+minecraft stuff because there are children in your life that love minecraft but you don't really know what you are doing then these are absolutely fantastic. Even just the first one already gives a lot of the vocab that you'll encounter https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgENJ0iY3XBjpNDm056_NSPhIntVMG0P8

I've also been eyeing client side modding, looking at some fabric mods. I think I'd like to do a fabric nrepl mod so it's easier to poke at things in a single player world, that should make it even more accessible, although making the witchcraft api fabric-compatible will be a bit of work, but we have some foundation to support easy porting
