we’ve been maintaining a fork of jackdaw for some time with changes from a couple of stagnant prs currently open on the main jackdaw project. is there a way we can get these looked at and possibly merged? https://github.com/FundingCircle/jackdaw/pull/263 (this one does have merge conflicts and i’ve ask the author to update. or i have a new branch i can make a new pr off of) https://github.com/FundingCircle/jackdaw/pull/259 (here’s a 3rd, more personal one since we’re on the topic of stagnant prs https://github.com/FundingCircle/jackdaw/pull/334)
per the original author’s request, i’ve resolved the conflicts from 263 with a new pr https://github.com/FundingCircle/jackdaw/pull/335
ya, it's a shame because i think jackdaw
is a really nice library. given the response time of the maintainers (though last i checked there does seem to be more activity recently), it may be time to fork and offer a newly supported lib.
or go to another library (imo the cognitect pedestal.kafka
one is interesting if you don't need kstreams stuff)
