For what it's worth, Google Maps works wonders for public transportation information and there's http://reittiopas.fi as well 🙂 Also Uber just yesterday re-entered Helsinki so even that may work now, although at this point they have maybe like three cars... 🙂

There's also a dedicated bus route from the airport to central Helsinki as well; I suppose it's a balance between cost and comfort 🙂

Mostly for me it’s how long it will take me to get there. Given the cost of flying to Helsinki, I don’t mind spending a bit on a taxi to make better use of my time there 🙂

I think train is 30min to Helsinki Central Station and they go maybe every 30 min. Venue is 2km from both Pasila and Central station so a bit long to walk but I think there is tram line from central station.

Our taxi system just got entirely renewed so there might be a slight hassle involved; from the beginning of this month the regulation was dropped nearly entirely. Most taxi companies now have a set price from airport to central Helsinki; there's tons of signs outside the airport about the prices.
