wrt lispy, i remember there being some really great bits, but when i used it there were parts i wanted to turn off / disable but i didn't figure out how to. i also found it took me a while to get used to it. though i stuck with it for a while, in retrospect i think that might make gradual adoption of it somewhat difficult.
when doing certain actions I see this message flash: Contacting host: http://clojurians.slack.com:443
at some point yesterday I tabbed back into Emacs and it had http://clojurians.slack.com open in a buffer
