@eoinmonty: ok should be fixed now, let me test: hi

Seems to have done the job

nice simple_smile

completely OT, you should probably play Oxenfree

I started a second playthrough of life is strange

the dialogue tree is excellent

cool, I will check it out!

how have things been since the ClojureBridge?

damn, I have a ps4 ๐Ÿ˜‰ Steam it is!

Good, keeping busy. Playing waaaay too much ps4. Completed the main quest of the witcher 3 over the weekend, now starting the DLC. You?

hi everyone

Iโ€™m playing Witcher3 myself, clearing every โ€˜?โ€™ off the map

itโ€™s going to take decades xD

hi @doppioslash and @danielytics ! nice to see this group simple_smile

I meant to email you to see if you plan to be in Dublin any time soon. For a yada talk ๐Ÿ˜‰

I was there last week actually but unfortunately didn't have the time

@doppioslash: yep.. Iโ€™m obsessive like that too

but I'm keen to come back over in the spring

or sooner

yada will be out in late Feb/early March

that will be a good time to talk about it

(it's almost done, just doing the finishing touches...)

@imre has been doing some yada commits (he did the transit integration) and he's in Ormond Quay - you should get those Sagax devs involved

very nice bunch

Iโ€™ve been looking at it again over Christmas and very much liking where its going.

And actually now believe you that it solves the CRUD use cases nicely too

๐Ÿ˜‰

yeah, it's ready for your database table integration simple_smile

that would make for a nice talk - you could almost live-code it

not a bad idea

@malcolmsparks: Ah, I was talking to one of the Sagex guys in November, didnโ€™t know theyโ€™ve committed to yada simple_smile

definitely need to chat to the rest of the team

Yep, we're using yada - we still have quite a bit of time till the live releasr so we thought we'd jump on the bandwagon early

Looking forward to the 1.0 release ๐Ÿ˜›

We keep it decoupled though, so if @malcolmsparks releases a brand new lib that's even better we should be able to switch quickly

hey there guys simple_smile

@danielytics: I didn't mean to imply Sagax is using yada, just that @imre made some useful contribs simple_smile

@danielytics: thanks for starting this group. I'm a developer living in Tipperary and working in Cork. I've been learning Clojure over the last 6 months or so and loving it! I'll definitely get up to Dublin soon to get to a Clojure Ireland meetup. I'm working on a side project in Clojure and Clojurescript and having a lot of fun! Using Scala in my current job so I get to do functional programming day to day. Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself. Thanks, Tom
