@noonian: more of a discussion for the Om channel. As I said, that was how they wanted me to do it. It is alpha, so API changes are acceptable.

FWIW, I’m more in favor of keeping the current API and documenting this quirk than introducing another key for the reconciler

I might open an issue about it after work just to document the discussion.
