Hello, I'm looking for my first job in Clojure. My professional experience is mostly with PHP ecosystems - 8 yrs. But I've been Emacs tinkerer for 5 yrs. I live in plain text & org-mode. Emacs have started my love & admiration for Lisp and Clojure. Two months ago I quit my job in the corporation and I started learning Clojure full-time. I've read 4 books so far: - Clojure for the Brave and True, - The Joy of Clojure, - Programming Clojure, - Web Development with Clojure And I'm doing some examples on 4ever-clojure. But most job offers require some experience in Clojure. How can I get the first experience? Maybe I should do some example projects? What do you think about my CV? Any feedback is welcome and appreciated!

You read all the books in a couple of months? Impressive, especially Joy of Clojure can be quite dense. If you haven’t done so I recommend building a simple app/system and listing it on your GitHub profile. Then watch clojure job channels and reach out to companies that look interesting I would say professional clojure experience isn’t required in many cases

Thank you very much for your positive reactions & kind words. It gave me a little encouragement. In next month I will try to build something bigger than examples from books.

For that, a good start (or inspiration) could be to look at Sean's usermanager example: https://github.com/seancorfield/usermanager-example
