@fenton :remote is a default. In other words, if you don’t define :remotes, :remote will still be available as a valid remote. I think it’s best practice to declare all the remotes that are available for use, so even if you don’t use :remote, it might still be best to include it in your vector.

OK thanks!

fenton14:09:14

@levitanong updated the docs.

levitanong16:09:55

@fenton Looks like I was mistaken! My apologies. "there's only a default :remote if the remote option is not passed to the reconciler. If it's overridden by [:foo] there will only be the :foo remote.”

fenton16:09:56

@levitanong ok i'll update the docs 🙂

fenton16:09:15

hmm...then i wonder if we should remove it from the quick start tutorial ?

fenton16:09:00

ok put the following in wiki docs

levitanong16:09:45

Okay, that bit you added clarifies things 😄

levitanong16:09:27

@fenton you’ve inspired me, and I’ve decided to add documentation on :shared and :merge

fenton16:09:54

@levitanong ah great! Haven't got there yet, but I'll be glad you've removed the bolders by the time i do! 🙂

levitanong16:09:02

Glad to be of future help 😄
