Has anyone set geiser up recently for use with scheme? I'm getting some oddities and was wondering if it was still considered bullet-proof

the idea being that they provide software for non-free platforms, but they don't let non-free platforms have more features

but yeah the first time you see it it can be a little jarring

the failure mode for this is random 5 second freezes every time it tries to load a new glyph

no warning in *Messages*
