it may have been around for ages; the first time I've used it was after an iOS update

qqq02:11:42

the UI Is: press q key = get a letter 'q' press q key, but instead of letting go, flick finger down ==> gets letter '1' instead

seancorfield02:11:40

I don't see that at all. If I try to flick down when holding q, I get a most times -- which is the letter directly below q on the keyboard.

@seancorfield https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/ipad-flick-keyboard-ios-11/ <-- are we talking about the same UI? link is what I am describing

seancorfield04:11:59

@qqq Ah, this is iPad-only?

qqq04:11:54

@seancorfield: looks like I forgot to mention that, yeah, I'm referring to the ipad builtin keyboard

seancorfield04:11:47

Have you taken a look at Google's G-board for iOS?

seancorfield04:11:22

Lets you "draw" words across the keyboard (like Android, I believe?).

qqq04:11:43

is this the 'swift key' ?

seancorfield04:11:52

I installed the G-board on my iPhone a while back and I love it -- speeds up my typing a lot!

Have any of you guys got rate-limited by using (slurp "url..")?

vemv11:11:58

@mohamedhayibor rate limiting exists regardless of how you do a HTTP request (slurp, curl, a web browser etc)

chang13:11:10

@vemv Thanks for the info.
