@hlolli my understanding is that you need circle or Travis for Mac/Linux. There's one with a longer name for Windows.
circle doesn't have marix builds, i.e. building the same git repo for multiple platforms
their macos offering is solid though
not sure if it's available for free for OSS
borkdude what's that first quote from?
i want to be outraged
"Not relying on a type system is unethical."
Heh, I watch that talk whenever I want to get angry about something again.
big fan of dan luu. got to see him at strange loop. he speaks so quickly because he has such a firm grasp of his subject matter. really impressive
An antidote for that talk with some actual data (!!) : https://vimeo.com/74354480
@alandipert Oh, that quote is from this talk 🙂 http://twitter.com/borkdude/status/919925962527080448
Looking for ideas on end to end testing, maybe headless Chrome, maybe something else. Please share experiences!
We've used both clj-webdriver
and HtmlUnit
(the latter is headless, the former can be configured to use any Selenium browser driver).
@borkdude Well, clj-webdriver
has a very busy maintainer who hasn't had much bandwidth for it lately and has been looking for someone to step up and help / take it over. We still use clj-webdriver
pretty heavily at World Singles and we're happy with it.
If I change Slack teams and wait a few hours, a fake notification shows up on the Clojurians team. I see a red 1
in my All Threads, but clicking on it gives a blank "All Threads" screen (and the "notification" goes away.)
Has anyone else seen this? It prevents me from actually telling if I have a notification or not, which is mostly a minor annoyance, but it doesn't happen on any of my other Slack teams.
(I tried muting every channel, but the behavior persists. I've seen it since I joined a week ago.)
Probably #slack-help is the better channel for that @quest but if you're on Windows, I have seen similar behavior -- the Windows client seems a bit flaky about notifications compared to the Mac client.
