@fellshard i'm in some weird situation delivering things that work and having to now fight off these buzzwords that seem to easily impress anyone who doesn't know anything about blockchain itself and software development. somehow blockchain in UAE has eclipsed AI which actually has uses but no one here can deliver on.

Distributed trust simply spreads the trust around; it doesn't remove the need for trust, and the system can and will still be gamed.

this is a place where the main telecom providers still have horrible websites/apps riddled with problems, the main government hospitals are still using paper for everything, and loads of processes are split up and fragmented all over the place. there's a lot ways proper software can help every business here and they choose buzzwords instead...
