@smith.adriane You may really enjoy Eric Normand and me learning Smalltalk and Glamorous Toolkit from Tudor Girba — at 42m into the video, he shows us how he’d build a Twitter archive viewer, and it’s such a dazzling demonstration of what UI development could look like. I’d love to know what you think! (It’s funny — you’ll actually hear Eric and me gasp, sigh, wow, etc., as Tudor does things that are typically so difficult in typically UI development frameworks.) https://twitter.com/RealGeneKim/status/1469389359249956869
I just finished watching session 2 yesterday!
OH!!! I’m so glad to hear that! I’ve been very much thinking of you as we go thru this, thinking how much I thought you’d get a kick out of htis. Session 3 is outrageous, because it’s not Eric/me trying to get out of barbed wire, it’s Tudor building it. Freaking awesome and mind expanding!!!
I am looking forward to watching these vids @U6VPZS1EK! So much to learn, so little time!
