Hi all, I’m Ewan (from Canada). I transitioned to making software a few years ago, and am currently finishing up a CS degree while working full-time writing mostly Java. I came to appreciate LISPs in an SICP-inspired course and continue to find them beautiful and fun to think with in my spare time. Since I’m partial to functional programming and Clojure feels both well-designed and eminently practical (Datomic also, very rational), I’m hoping to further my knowledge of it, and maybe (ideally) one day use it for work as well as hobbies! If anyone has tips for getting started on the path to professional use of Clojure, I’m all ears, and otherwise, will post questions when I’m stumped!
