Clojurians Log v2

Thank you to @abstractgrig for his Virtuoso wrapper around the Java 21 virtual threading library — I’m amazed at how easy it was to convert Claypoole pmap or Clojure pmap into http://virtuoso.co/pmap calls. It took less than 15 minutes to confirm a 10x speedup — in my case, it was calling hundreds of clj/http HEAD calls to confirm that URLs weren’t dead. FYI: (it took another 45m to convert my Google Cloud Run container images to, for the first time, use a non-Java 11 distroless image. Converting to Java 21 was mostly painless — I had to change my CircleCI build image, because they only supported Java 17. All things considered, I’m delighted. And now I’m happily running Java 21 on my dev laptop, as Ivan’s awesome library made using virtual threads so easy — made upgrading worth it! https://grishaev.me/en/virtuoso/
