Hi there clojurians. I've been hacking clojure/script as a hobby for close to 8 years, and leveraged it previously at my workplace to quickly iterate and keep up with some web apps with ill-defined requirements as a solo full stack dev (backend, frontend and deployment duties). I've been working as a data engineer, heavily python & Polaris & dbt & bigquery/duckdb, building pipelines, designing and defining infrastructure in terraform.. and dealing with a whole lot of SHIFT-JIS csv out here in Tokyo 😂. I'm beginning to look around for a more clojure based career choice, and joined again to see what's up in the clojureverse these days. The tool matters. I'm happy to see what you're all building!

Thanks man, seems like a rarity but I'm here 😂

do what I do and sneak it in at your primarily-java shop lol.. although just in one project so far, and it’s completely independent it could’ve been in any language and wouldn’t matter lol. FOR NOW

For sure When I was in control of the stack it was a great force multiplier but now I'm working on teams so we use a .. lower common denominator
