As we are now rapidly approaching 5000 members looks like finding alternatives to Slack is becoming more urgent. I must find some time to check out braid-chat again. Looks like it's moving on at a pace!
Not sure it’s a good slack replacement, but this is pretty interesting: https://www.humhub.org/en
I'm on a Windows 10 laptop with 8 gigs of RAM. I need to evaluate various chat clients for Android and iOS. Any recommendations for an emulator to do such a thing? I don't need to do any development, I just need fast response time.
cfleming: looks really message board style and oriented for a large traditional team with documents
I'm honestly having a hard time not being biased. I feel like the Braid team is capable of morphing Braid in any direction necessary to achieve its goals. Just sayin'. 😺
@arrdem: Yeah, I don’t think it’s what we’re after, but it’s interesting. It’s the sort of thing that might supplement a chat system for building a community.
@meow: Could you pin the braid URL here? I can’t remember it and, you know, we have no history.
@meow: Has that leanpixel URL changed recently? I use pwdhash and it’s telling me bad credentials.
Not that I am aware of. @rafd or @jamesnvc would be able to answer that kind of question.
@cfleming are you using <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]> ?
will be <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]>
@rafd: When I register after following that link, I see a screen that says com/amazonaws/services/s3/model/AbstractPutObjectRequest
re pwdhash, you maybe hashed it using the invite url (which has some random token, etc) instead of just http://chat.leanpixel.com
@rafd: No, pwdhash just uses the http://leanpixel.com part
