Just checked https://www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2024/may/02/local-elections-2024-full-council-results-for-england and I am shocked beyond words that my old stomping ground (Farnborough, Hants) has switched from Con to Lab -- it has been a Con stronghold for years 🤯
I'm organising a meet-up in London this weekend - it is a Racket meet-up but many of us use clojure and other lisps. So clojure people are very welcome. Would it be inappropriate to post here? (I did ask on zulip - and they suggested posting here too)
yes good morning!

Mornin' folks. Looks like a quarter of the council elections are still to be declared... I saw some won't be declared until some time tomorrow... but it's looking like a heck of a shift right now...
Of interest, anyone been watching the Horizon Public Inquiry? I have it on the background and it's extremely fasinating. In a few weeks, the senior Fujitsu engineer who architected/developed the system is due to give evidence.
What's really interesting atm, is just how all the senior lawyers at Post Office keep passing the blame to others.
