its good as a Java++

with something semi-sane for NPEs

the biggest plus might be extremely good tooling

(which is unheard of for all other new languages)

I think given the complete lack of substantiated arguments (on both sides of the election race) it's quite poetic that the US elected a president whose surname is a synonym for fart in this country! #irony

@reborg The ClojureX Bytes was an idea by SkillsMatter to run a few events in the run-up to ClojureX. Unfortunately they didnt get speakers for the first event and they havent added any speaker details for the event on the 24th November yet.

We are also struggling to get speakers for our regular London Clojurians talk night as well... It seems unlikely we will have a talk events now until February 2017
