I ordered my latest keyboard directly from Keychron, and finding one with a German layout was most of the hassle. Shipping took some weeks, though, and if you are not looking for a mechanical keyboard, it might be more expensive than you’d like

I needed one with a num block, for when I’m doing the invoices and finance stuff for the company. I’m happy with it apart from three things: • I hit the “switch light mode” key in the top right corner way too often, and then it starts flashing like a carnival, until I hit it 12 more times to enable the “boring” backlight • I don’t always find the error keys blindly, because they are just integrated into the layout without any spacing. Thought in the beginning that I just needed to get used to it, but has not entirely happened after a year • Sometimes it looses the Bluetooth Connection and needs 2 seconds to re-establish it, but it happens rarely and could also be an issue with my Mac instead.

The keycaps could feel less cheap, but for a <100$ keyboard it’s okay, couldn’t justify spending more. Sorry for hijacking, I’m done now 😅

what does "glyphs" mean in this context @U0525KG62 (presumably distinct from just the things which come out on the screen when you press a key?) ?
