I read the blog post on getting started with cljsrn , it says to get genymotion which doesn't seem to have a free trial. Is this necessary?

@gdeer81 I was recently pleasantly surprised by how fast the default Android emulator is, I tried it with exponent + cljs, so should be fairly similar using vanilla react native.

So maybe give that a go, it seems like the Android toolchain has improved a fair bit.

Make sure to install the HAXM extension though.

> which doesn't seem to have a free trial. Is this necessary? @gdeer81 It's not a trial, but they have a free version for personal use with no time limit. If you're just learning some stuff to get started, its a valid option.

Oh wait, maybe it used to have and doesn't anymore…
