Are there any changes to what needs to be configured set with cider 0.19 (Raleigh) ? Getting a weird traceback on starting repl, other than changing cider/nrepl to match the new version, not changed anything else 🤔

@mgrbyte Can you share it here?

I get the same with cider-jack-in as with standalone repl Have:

:repl
   {:plugins
    [[refactor-nrepl "2.4.0"]
     [cider/cider-nrepl "0.19.0"]]}
in project.clj

bozhidar14:01:41

I haven’t seen this error.

bozhidar14:01:51

Seems you’re hitting some NPE when you run tests right?

mgrbyte14:01:56

just dbl checking now

mgrbyte14:01:33

yep, you'd be correct. strange 🤔

mgrbyte14:01:07

thanks, it's probably something dumb I've done, will dig deeper.

mgrbyte14:01:23

sorry for the noise

mgrbyte14:01:41

thought it was happening on jacking in, but it's not

hkjels16:01:31

I think cider is looking for deps.edn in the top-level git directory. Is there a setting to override it?

bozhidar16:01:36

No, that’s not the case. It’s looking for the the first deps.edn above the file you’ve currently visited in the file hierarchy.

hkjels16:01:45

that sounds sane. I’m getting a message about missing figwheel-main when I excecute cider-jack-in-cljs. Do you have any idea why?

hkjels16:01:02

it works when I start a REPL from the terminal

hkjels17:01:35

I think I see the issue..

hkjels17:01:13

Yeah.. I had figwheel-main as an extra-dep, so it’s loaded to late
