Overtone 0.13.3177 is out! Overtone is a sound and music programming environment for Clojure, especially suitable for live coding and performances. Highlights of this release
• auto-connect audio outputs on Linux (via https://github.com/plexus/casa.squid.jack)
• hot plugging of MIDI devices (no longer requires a restart)
• new loop-buf
UGen, for looping samples
Together with the previous release this addresses the most common problems that people ran into when getting started. If you gave Overtone a try at any time in the past and couldn't get it to work, then I warmly encourage you to give it another chance. The README has updated installation instructions, and I've started going through the wiki to bring it a bit more up to date.
