The following happens to me at least twice a week:

*finds a new feature in emacs/spacemacs/cider/clj-refactor*
"This is awesome! I'm going to use this."
.... time spent using it ....
"This aspect is something I dislike."
.... reads docs ....
"Oh, there's a variable to do what I'd prefer."
