Passing this along on a friend's behalf in case anyone here is a K12 programming instructor or knows one who would be interested: > Do you know anyone who works in teaching computer science and might be interested in a few hour long free "summit" on the topic? > My friend Ness has been working for years now on a K-12 (really grades 6-12) computer programming curriculum, which largely integrates programming into the instruction of other subjects. > ...he's invested a huge amount of resources into this project but hasn't been able to get it into more than a couple dozen school districts so far, and this summit is by/for a group of educators in charge of computer programming curriculum for each state. I thought you might know some interested parties. The overall program is at https://www.blackbirdcode.com/; PM me if it's not obvious from there how to get an invite to the summit. (PS -- I realize this is a quasi-commercial message, but it seems like a worthy goal and I've got no financial or personal connection to this, just passing it along. Happy to delete if people feel it's inappropriate.)

A prominent trans streamer was recently doxxed, harassed, finally swatted by an online hate group that Cloudflare has consistently shielded, despite their literal body count after years of hatred and violence. She has put together some resources and a detailed account of the history of said hate group, and started a campaign to pressure Cloudflare to finally stop supporting a group with a history of abuse of trans and other marginalized people and their allies, often to the point of violence or suicide. If you or your employer are customers are Cloudflare and committed to ethical tech and diversity, I urge you to educate yourself about this issue, and to reach out via the contact information for Cloudflare provided at the link below. For the sake of myself and the many trans, queer, neurodiverse, BIPOC, and others who have lived in fear of these people for years, I urge you to act. Thank you. https://www.dropkiwifarms.net/

That URL gives a Cloudflare "Access Denied" page in Tor Browser

Both dropkiwifarms and the actual Kiwi Farms site are accessible via clearnet. I think CloudFlare intentionally blocks (some?) Tor exit nodes. As a CloudFlare user who’s neurodiverse, gender-non-conforming, and queer, thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to send them a wtf email this evening.

Yes. The campaign has decided against an altogether boycott at this time. I don't necessarily agree but I can see how it would make the campaign look more like customers acting in good faith than purely outside pressure, and in any case you do not want to go against KF without some kind of flood protection. They are infamous for coordinating DDOS attacks.
