it's per-user - which means that community groups with thousands of signups would have to pay tens of thousands of dollars

@doglooksgood AFAIK no one made a serious effort to do so
unless there's a prototype and the prototype looks awesome, so people will participate i guess
@noisesmith this is why IRC is still much better than slack ever will be, free, no registration and one platform for all of the platforms
