any arch linux user here? it seems any screencast software I have tried all have the black screen problem, any hints how to solve this?
you'll probably have to launch your screencast app in the console to check if there's anything dumpped to stderr, stdout or look at the system journal for hints
Guess you could try the system journal first, open a terminal and run journalctl -f
then use your app like normal.

journalctl make it possible for specializing what service you want to watch
-u <service name>
