> now I am open to exploring new roles and exciting opportunities You may like to review #jobs , #jobs-discuss and #available-for-jobs. These are all, of course, Clojure-specific or strongly Clojure-adjacent.

@adityaathalye FYI, that was a spammer who posted the same full-stack-looking-for-work post in multiple channels, no Clojure connection at all. We get a lot of these, unfortunately.

Ah I noticed only this one. Yes, it looked "spray and pray" which is why I remarked about the clojure-specificity. Thank you and all the other mods for all the heavy lifting to keep this place excellent gratitude

Hi everyone, I'm JΓΆrg from Berlin, originally an academic philosopher who is now turning to software engineering and consulting. I had always enjoyed working with Lisp and I am fascinated by functional programming, so Clojure is the right choice for me.

One reason I am drawn into Clojure is that there's quite a bit philosophy in it (that is, in the discussions surrounding it). "Simple made easy" struck me as being quite a philosophical piece.

A fellow (former) philosopher! Good luck with the transition. I’ve managed to find some similar excitement in making software, and I hope you do.
