Hello everyone from Madrid. My name is Juanjo. I have been programming professionally for over 20 years. C#, Java and Scala mainly. My first contact with functional programming was Scala, which led me to study Haskell, OCaml and Scheme. In my new project I am considering Clojure(Script), so here I am eager to learn again. After so many years of programming I am exhausted of seeing how what is apparently new is actually old. Now I feel like looking back and taking advantage of established and proven technologies that simply work. Less puzzles and more getting the work done. It's this attitude that attracts me to Clojure. I must be another one of those "cranky old programmers". Thanks for reading.
