Hi! I’m Phil! I’ve been developing software for about 15 years, most of that with Ruby, and the past few years with Java. I’ve always had an interesting in functional programming, since exposure to SICP in college, but I haven’t had a chance to dive too deep into any one particular functional language. I’ve been listening to @lorilynjmiller’s podcast and decided to finally try and join the slack here and spend some more time with Clojure. At some point, hopefully, I’d love to make a move to a role where I can use Clojure, or something like it, all the time. 😄 I’m currently at Microsoft, and I don’t think there’s any Clojure here — if there is, they are hiding it deep in MSFT Research, or somewhere.
