Hi everyone! I’m Shem and I’ve been working as a dev for 7 years, started with Frontend, moved to Backend/IaC. Been interested in Clojure for a while and just started learning. I’ve been loving the interactivity and ability to run forms separately using Conjure/CIDER. Reading through Eric Normand’s book Grokking Simplicity as well. Hoping to learn a lot from y’all!

hey everyone, I've been hanging around in the slack for a bit and started programming in clojure sometime last year. initially when I started using clojure I was looking for a reliable way to use LISP in some side projects. But these days I'm actively trying to integrate clojure into my day job doing data science and machine learning. It's been going much smoother than I could have hoped thanks to so many great projects but especially libpython-clj also I'm based in Durham, NC and looking forward to hanging out next week at the conj!
