yeah, ferret - a subset of clj which compiles to c++, has nifty real-time memory-management adaptations and a straightforward FFI

I had seen this somewhere recently... looks very cool indeed.

And I might have to do some Arduino stuff in the near future, so I might try this.

makes me want to dig out the arduino i know i have lying around in a drawer somewhere roundabout...
