Morning friends (including )
morning morning
we are looking forward to the result @jasonbell!
or should I say: https://gph.is/1e0T1tY
https://clojure.org/community/events anyone here been to clojureD ? I’m wondering if it’s worthwhile for a beginner.
I haven't been, but I've heard good things about it. I would say it depends largely on what you want out of any conference. If you want to network and meet other Clojure devs, then any Clojure conf would be a good thing 🙂 ymmv 🤷
And if you're looking for @thomas - he's the opposite of what you'd expect from a lego person. He'll be the tallest viking in the room
re your question... going to any clojure/tech conf you'll find people new to the language, interested in the language and some old hands as well.... and my experience is that at the end of the day it doesn't matter... people are there to learn and have fun
Thanks folks. I’ve been to ClojureX twice and enjoyed it even though a fair amount of the content went over my head. Berlin is a great city to visit so might combine it with a long weekend away, pre-Brexshit
Have any vim users here managed to get vim-fireplace and piggieback working fine with figwheel ? I am currently coding in cljs with no repl connectivity
To be more precise this is the problem im facing https://github.com/tpope/vim-fireplace/issues/303
Being on Twitter is starting to make me think I'm the only person who uses transducers
i think I've only used them once in 120kloc @otfrom
